We do not have a recording studio.  With high quality home studio recording equipment available today the trend is now that artist will record their tracks at home therefore we found no reason to make the investment in equipment for a sound studio.

We are equipped with state of the art Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) and out board gear which allows us to offer post production of your recorded tracks.  We have full capability to equalize, balance and fix any problems with your recording.  Everything you can do in the studio, with the exception of recording, we can do ... and the fees are very reasonable.

We will ensure that your project sounds the way you envisioned.  We will make recommendations, but the bottom line is  it's YOUR project, not ours.  You wrote it, you know how you want it to sound.

PMCD Creation

This is the term for a "Pre Mastered CD"  Basically this is the CD that one would send to a duplication service.

We create all PMCD(s) to Red Book Standard and we provide you with a Bar Code so your product will be accepted for Retail sale in stores

The following additional items can be added to the disk as deviations to the standard format.

 CD-TEXT encoding

CD-TEXT is the data that you see on various players that show the Artist name, name of the song and other information such as name of the album.  If you do not have your PMCD enocded with this data and you wish to have it later, the duplication companies will charge you for this.

ISRC encoding

We have the capability and an assigned company ISRC code to digitally encode each of your tracks on the PMCD.  ISRC encoding is something that your standard run-of-the-mill music disk creation software will not do.

If this is an item that you are interested in, then it is best to do it on the PMCD. If you do not encode the disk then, the duplication serivce must encode the data and this will cost you again.

What is the ISRC?

The ISRC (International Standard Recording Code) is the international identification system for sound recordings and music videorecordings. Each ISRC is a unique and permanent identifier for a specific recording which can be permanently encoded into a product as its digital fingerprint. Encoded ISRC provide the means to automatically identify recordings for royalty payments.

Benefits of using ISRC

The ISRC system is the key to royalty collection for recordings in the digital information age.

  • ISRC is a unique, reliable, international identification system.

  • ISRC provides a unique tool for the purpose of rights administration.

  • ISRC is a useful identification tool in the electronic distribution of music.

  • ISRC coding is compatible with standards developed in the field of consumer electronics and is readable by hardware already used in the recording industry.

  • ISRC is cost effective - it can be put into operation without requiring special investment in equipment or technologies.

P&Q Codes

P&Q codes are the track markers and timing information on a CD. These codes allow consumer CD players the ability to know where every track starts, ends, and all timing information about the CD (remaining, total, elapsed).

Graphic Arts

We use the latest in software to help you create your art work, liner, and traycard for your CD with your ideas in mind.

Some of the software that we use is Pagemaker, Adobe Creative Suite CS4 and various other graphic / publishing software
